Our Story

The word tita is Filipino for aunt, and us Filipinos use tita/aunt/auntie to refer not just to actual relatives but also as a way to give respect to women who are often older than ourselves. And just like any tita, who offers you food when you come to their house, Tita Lea is the kind of person who likes to give her guests a hearty meal when they visit her home.

In 2014, Tita Lea started offering her much-loved dishes and desserts to family and friends. With positive word-of-mouth, her humble business started to grow.

Today, Tita Lea's Food Specialties is a household name in Baguio. Our Pancit Malabon, lutong ulam, and desserts are a constant in many celebrations and are featured dishes in many meals. Our signature dessert, the Caramel Black Kutsinta, has also received many features on TV and magazines and have become a must-have pasalubong for many Baguio tourists.
